About Us: Our Story-Our Mission
HART Industrial Unions, LLC was founded in 1985 by William S. Boyko, President of an Industrial Pipe Fitting & Supply Company located in Connecticut. The brand name HART, along with the flat face Sure-Seal O-Ring design, was designed, developed, and manufactured to respond to the increasing feedback related to performance issues identified in high pressure, Class 3000 & Class 6000 sealing applications. At the time, the predominant industry standard was ball & cone ground joint unions.
William S. Boyko innovated HART Sure-Seal (flat face O-Ring) Union concept and design to solve the identified industry problem with a leak-free option. This design would not only provide a higher quality pipe connection but also improve the ability for customers to connect two dissimilar pipes with a proven dielectric insulator to prevent galvanic corrosion, provide maintenance-free performance, and offer overall ease of assembly and disassembly.
The proven HART branded concept soon became a line extension and quickly transformed into a value-added company specializing in supporting the needs of the piping industrial market.
In 2010 Scott R. Tremblay, former Director of Engineering with Henkel/Loctite Corporation, acquired HART Industrial Unions, LLC with the goal of providing customers with even faster delivery times, increased product quality, and investment in innovation to increase long-term internal capabilities.
To ensure HART continued to meet and ultimately exceed customer expectations, Scott worked closely with William Boyko during this transition to make sure the HART founding legacy and product standards were maintained without impacting the commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Since 2010, HART has invested in research & development, process, and design engineering to ultimately reduce delivery times and allow for manufacturing diversity to meet specific customer design requests. HART has a focus on continuous improvement to meet future industrial requirements for Class 3000 and Class 6000 pipe system connections.
HART Industrial Unions, LLC is now proudly located in Berlin, CT and has expanded its manufacturing capabilities, engineering talent, sales support, and marketing teams. We are proud to not only meet customers’ needs but strive to exceed expectations. Our teams are able to provide the high-quality customer service our customers expect.
